St. Boniface Fair

The Fair is a re-enactment of the 18th Century Burgh Fair marking the anniversary of the death of St Boniface. Today it continues as a local festival, selling locally grown vegetables and fruits; craft goods of pottery, woodwork and jewellery; and hand-made fabrics, plus, plants and garden produce; home baking, tablet, breads, etc. In the grounds of the cathedral entertainment and refreshments from one of the churches of the village.
